In support of the Government's plan to implement five-day week in the civil service, the Fire Services Department will extend the business hours of the following service during weekdays and cease to operate such service on Saturdays.

All emergency services (including fire, rescue and ambulance services) will remain unchanged.
For all backend offices, the new business hours are 8:30 am to 5:45 pm, with lunch break 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm from Monday to Friday (except public holidays).
Members of the public who require shroff service outside the business hours may use the following alternative means:
