The loss of life and property can be significantly minimised if a fire is effectively suppressed or even extinguished at its incipient stage. The FSD shall therefore continue its efforts to educate members of the public on the proper use and maintenance of fire service installations and equipment, and heighten their awareness of fire protection through public education in a bid to reduce fire risks.
